Engr. Kabir Musa Umar, FNSE

Engr. Kabir Musa Umar, FNSE holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria, demonstrating his academic excellence in the field of Electrical Engineering. Kabir Musa Umar is a registered Engineer (COREN) and a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (FNSE).

He has served at the Nigerian Society of Engineers in various capacities and received numerous awards and decorations, including Distinguished branch ambassador NSE, Abuja, and has been recognized for his contributions to the Engineering community.

Over the years, Engr. Kabir Musa Umar has progressed from non-supervisory to mid-supervisory and to upper-level supervisory roles, acquiring project management knowledge, personal and performance competence.

His last key role being Deputy General Manager (Engineering Design) at the Federal Housing Authority (FHA).

He has participated in the construction, management, maintenance and repair of both movable and immovable properties, including various housing programs approved by the Federal Government for millions of Nigerians.

His roles have involved technical appraisals of the Authority’s Electrical projects from pre design stages to post construction management ensuring adherence to best practices at all times.

Kabir Musa Umar brings to the FHA EDL, his education, training, experience, outstanding contributions to engineering and the public service in Nigeria, to pioneer a new venture for the FHA where together with a high-profile board led by Hon. Oyetunde Oladimeji Ojo, he is set to raise the bar in the Energy Sector.
