The Federal Housing Authority has officially appointed Engr. Kabir Umar, FNSE, as the Managing Director/CEO of its subsidiary, FHA Energy Distribution Limited (FHAEDL). Established on April 5, 2024, FHA Energy Distribution Limited is committed to providing reliable, sustainable, and efficient energy solutions tailored to the needs of modern residential and commercial estates. Engr. Kabir Musa Umar’s appointment reflects the company’s dedication to excellence and innovation in the energy sector.
Engr. Kabir Musa Umar brings a wealth of experience and expertise to FHAEDL. A distinguished engineer and seasoned professional in the real estate, infrastructure, and energy sectors, his career spans significant contributions to engineering and public service. Engr. Umar holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and is a registered Engineer (COREN) and Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (FNSE).
Before his appointment, Engr. Umar served as Deputy General Manager (Engineering Design) at the Federal Housing Authority, where he led technical appraisals of electrical projects, ensuring best practices at every stage of design and implementation. His extensive involvement in the construction, management, maintenance, and repair of housing programs underscores his deep commitment to enhancing Nigeria’s infrastructure.
